A Look inside The New Kinder Building at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston
/A couple of weeks ago I attended the media preview of the brand new Nancy and Rich Kinder Building at the Museum of Fine Arts and it’s spectacular! Architect Steven Holl mentioned “Art can change your life” and I couldn’t agree more. Especially after experiencing it in this marvelous space filled with curves and movement that gives home to the Museum’s collections of modern and contemporary artworks.
These pieces were drawn from the museum’s collections of Latin American and Latino art; photography; prints and drawings; decorative arts, craft, and design; and modern and contemporary art. The museum will offer inside this new building a brand new café and formal dining restaurant which are currently under construction but should be finished very soon.
Thanks so much to the Museum of Fine Arts Houston for having me, I was marveled at the beauty of this building and its art pieces. This new architectural wonder will be an extraordinary addition to the city’s vibrant art landscape.
