Let’s celebrate “Día de los niños” with a Delicious Colorful Explosion!
One of the greatest treasures I have is my Grandmother’s recipe book. It has an enormous value, because beside its recipes, it has her handwritten notes that have passed all her culinary secrets from one generation to the next. In the kitchen and through food, stories are written and great memories are created. Memories that stay with us forever.
When I was a little girl, I truly enjoyed watching my mom and my Grandma cooking; with that in mind, I decided to celebrate “Día de los niños” by cooking with my kids.
In quericavida.com I found a lot of recipes to celebrate this special day. We decided to celebrate it by making some tasty banana treats covered in Trix cereal. They were really fun and easy to make.
The ingredients are:
- Bananas
- Greek Yogurt
- Trix Cereal
- Wooden sticks
First you need to cut the bananas in half and insert the wooden sticks in them.
After that, you need to cover them in Greek yogurt. Once they are totally covered in yogurt, you roll them in the cereal until they are fully coated.
Once you’re done, you freeze them for one hour and they are ready to enjoy!
We definitely had a lot of fun together. Yo Mariana invite you to celebrate “Día de los niños” by cooking with your kids. I’m sure you’ll remember it forever.
