Arts and Coffee
To all the coffee and art lovers, today I want to tell you about a place that has united good coffee and a great space in a harmonious way to enjoy some artistic expression. It’s called Inversion Coffee.
Inversion Coffee is in the Montrose area and offers some of the world’s most delicious beans. And it has become the perfect place to “work from home” because it offers free Wi-Fi, and is open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The menu blew me away because it offers international preparations, like Cuban espresso, espresso con pana, Cuban with cinnamon, as well as the traditional French Press and Café au lait. And if you want to indulge, they offer plenty of iced blended drinks.
What I loved about this place is that in the back of the building is the Art League of Houston, one of the largest non-profit artistic communities. This organization offers an art gallery with permanent and temporary exhibitions well worth visiting, as well as carrying out philanthropic programs such as bringing the visual arts to low-income schools.
If you want to go beyond just watching the art exhibits, you can experiment with taking painting, sculpting, mixed media and calligraphy classes, too.
So, now you know, if you want to break the routine and spend a couple of hours in a place where you can enjoy good coffee and see art pieces while you’re there, Yo Mariana recommends you visit Inversion Coffee.
